Maple Balsamic Caramelized   Brussels Sprouts

These caramelized Brussels sprouts are a simple and delicious dish, oven-roasted to crispy perfection, and drizzled with a delightful maple balsamic glaze. A vegan Thanksgiving favorite.

Ingredients

Rinse and pat dry Brussels sprouts. Remove any wilted or spotted outer leaves, trim woody ends, and halve or quarter larger sprouts.

Toss sprouts with oil, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika in a bowl. Arrange cut side down on a greased baking sheet and roast at 400°F for 25 minutes.

Take the sprouts out of the oven and add them back to the bowl. Add in chopped pecans and the balsamic maple glaze. Stir well.

Re-oil the pan if necessary and return sprouts to roast for 5-10 more minutes, or until they caramelize. Sprinkle with a pinch of kosher salt upon removing from the oven.
