Vegan Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

This easy vegan chocolate chip banana bread is moist and flavorful and will make your house smell amazing. Use up spotty bananas while enjoying a dairy-free and egg-free treat.

Ingredients

Mash the bananas in a medium bowl with a fork or potato masher. It's ok if there are some chunks.

Add the wet ingredients and sugar to the mashed bananas and mix well.

Mix together the flour and all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and fold in the chocolate chunks of walnuts. Let the batter sit for 15 minutes to give it a chance to rise even more.

Grease a bread pan or line with parchment paper. Add the banana bread batter and sprinkle brown sugar or extra chocolate chips on top of the loaf.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until you can insert a toothpick into the center of the bread and it comes out clean.

RECIPE TIPS

Let the bread cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.  You can keep this on the counter or in the fridge. This can also be frozen.
