Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees. Press tofu for 15 minutes in a tofu press or with some heavy pots and pans.

Crumble the tofu into small pieces and large chunks for a variety of textures in a large mixing bowl.

Add the seasonings, soy sauce, nutritional yeast, black beans or cooked lentils and a little oil. Mix well.

Oil a baking sheet (or line with parchment paper) and spread the vegan ground beef mixture onto the sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
