Press the tofu in a tofu press or with heavy pan and books, for 10-15 minutes to get rid of excess moisture.

Cut the tofu into three strips, then cut into bite sized cubes. For even more texture, tear the tofu into cubes, instead of cutting it.

Add tofu to a large mixing bowl. Drizzle on the oil, then sprinkle on the soy sauce and gently mix.

Sprinkle on the corn starch, garlic powder and onion powder. Gently mix with a wide flat spatula.

Add tofu cubes to a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake until crispy and golden brown.

Pro TIP

If you want super crispy tofu, then freeze the package of tofu. Throw the whole package in the freezer. Thaw it out, then press or gently squeeze the excess water out.
