In a large mixing bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients and stir well. Smash up the chickpeas and add them in.

In a blender or food processor, add in all of the wet ingredients and blend well.

Pour in the wet mixture to the dry mixture. Stir until it starts to come together. Knead it for 5 minutes.

 Flatten out the dough with a rolling pin or your hands and shape them up a bit to resemble ribs. Cut the dough in half.

Oil a baking dish. Add in the dough. Cover with a lot of bbq sauce. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

RECIPE TIPS

If you want to add even more texture, you can add unripe, young jackfruit or artichoke hearts. Just chop and shred them up before adding to the dough.
