Easy vegan brown gravy
Only 6 ingredients. The easiest vegan gravy you will ever make. Savory, rich and delicious. Goes perfectly over mashed potatoes.

add everything to a sauce pan, but don't turn the heat on yet
2 cups water, 1 vegan not-chicken bouillon cube, ¼ cup corn starch, 1 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast, ½ teaspoon poultry seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 2 tablespoons vegan butter
Stir until the corn starch is slightly mixed (it won't completely mix until it heats up)
Turn heat to high and bring to a boil, stir the whole time.
Immediately turn down to a simmer and keep stirring until the gravy thickens. This should take about 5-6 minutes.
Serve over vegan mashed potatoes or poutine.
If you don't have vegan chicken vegetable bouillon cubes or paste, you can always use vegetable broth.
Store this in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Add a splash of water when reheating.
