- 2 bananas roughly cubed
- ½ avocado roughly cubed
- 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons sunflower seeds
Peel and roughly cube up the fruit so they're all about the same size
2 grapefruits, 2 bananas, ½ avocado
Mix together in a bowl and top with maple syrup and sunflower seeds
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds, 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup
How to cut and peel the grapefruit for this recipe:
- Find the nub on top of the fruit, or where the grapefruit was picked off the tree. Cut it from the top of the grapefruit to the bottom, with a sharp knife, instead of in the middle of the fruit.
- After cutting it lengthwise, cut it in half, lengthwise a few more times, like you would an orange. You want to create about 4-6 grapefruit wedges.
- Peel it with your hands, like you would orange slices.
- Now cut the grapefruit up into smaller pieces and add it to the bowl. You can also cut away the grapefruit peels if you don't like chewing on that.
