Notes

How to cut and peel the grapefruit for this recipe:
  1. Find the nub on top of the fruit, or where the grapefruit was picked off the tree. Cut it from the top of the grapefruit to the bottom, with a sharp knife, instead of in the middle of the fruit.
  2. After cutting it lengthwise, cut it in half, lengthwise a few more times, like you would an orange. You want to create about 4-6 grapefruit wedges.
  3. Peel it with your hands, like you would orange slices.
  4. Now cut the grapefruit up into smaller pieces and add it to the bowl. You can also cut away the grapefruit peels if you don't like chewing on that.
