Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters. Steam them on the stove or in a microwave until barely fork tender. Let them cool down to room temperature.
Once the pan is hot, add the potatoes. Let them cook for about 5 minutes, then sprinkle on the seasonings, salt and minced garlic. Cook until they're golden brown and crispy.
