– 1 package tempeh – 1 veggie bouillon cube (or 2 TBL of soy sauce) – ¼ cup soy sauce – 1 tablespoon tahini – 2 tablespoon maple syrup – 2 teaspoon liquid smoke

To make the tempeh less bitter and more flavorful, simmer it in vegetable broth for 30 minutes.

Cut the tempeh into strips and place it in a tupperware container. Pour over the marinade sauce and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Add some oil to a skillet and let it heat up on medium heat. Add the tempeh strips to the pan. Cook on each side for 5 minutes
