– 1 package extra firm tofu – 1 tablespoon corn starch – ½ teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 tablespoon oil

Place the tofu in a tofu press, or place some heavy pans on top. This helps to get rid of excess water, and helps the tofu to crisp up.

PRESS THE TOFU

Cut the tofu into large cubes. Add to a mixing bowl and season with oil, salt and garlic powder. Add corn starch to really get the tofu crispy.

SEASON & ADD CORN STARCH

Space out the tofu on a lined baking sheet. Bake at 420 degrees for about 30 minutes. The tofu firms up even more as it cools down.
