Easy Vegan Rice Crispie Treats Recipe

These quick and simple vegan rice crispie treats require just four ingredients and 10 minutes of your time. Enjoy a gooey and delicious no-bake dessert.

-Vegan marshmallows  (I get these from Trader Joe's, Whole foods or I buy them online) -Vegan butter -Rice Krispie cereal - Chocolate chips (optional to add a melted chocolate topping)

Ingredients

In a large pot on the stove, put the vegan butter into the pan on medium-low heat. Stir and let the butter melt.

Add in the vegan marshmallows. Keep the heat on low and constantly stir, until the marshmallows melt.

Add in the rice crispy cereal to the melted marshmallow mixture and add a pinch of salt and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Grease a 9x9" pan or use parchment paper. Press the rice crispy mixture into the baking pan and let them cool. Use a sharp knife to cut them into a similar size.

RECIPE TIPS

Use a sheet of parchment paper to help it not stick to your baking dish. Mini marshmallows melt quicker, but use whatever you can find at your local grocery store.
