EASY TEMPEH TACOS

These tempeh tacos are super easy and make for a great weeknight vegan dinner. Full of protein. Learn how to cook tempeh with this beginner recipe.

– 1 tablespoon oil – 1 package of tempeh – ½ red onion (diced) – 1 tablespoon tomato paste – 2 tablespoons taco seasoning – 1 cup vegetable broth (or water) – 1 teaspoon garlic powder – 1 can black beans (drained and rinsed) – Tortillas

To get a finer consistency, grate the tempeh. If you don't have a grater, just chop it up finely

Add the onions to a saute pan with some onions and saute for five minutes.

Add tomato paste and spices to the pan. Saute for 30 seconds.

Add the tempeh to the pan. Add vegetable broth and cover with a lid. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
